Troubleshooting Options for Your HP Printer

Having trouble with your HP printer? It could be that some very easily fixed problem is to blame. We’re here to help. These are just some ideas. Rather than call a service technician, try these tips first and you can save some money.
  • The first thing you should do is check over your HP printer for anything obvious. Is it plugged in? (You’d be surprised to find that this DOES happen!) Ensure the cord attached to the printer is fully inserted. If it gets loose, you won’t have an operational printer. Take out the ink or toner cartridges and put them back in. Sometimes they may not have been installed correctly. Ensure they are the right model.
  • If nothing seems wrong so far, try rebooting. Sometimes when you turn the printer completely off for at least 30 seconds or more, and turn it back on, it goes about its business like nothing has happened.
  • Check your printer manual for other ideas. It usually has a troubleshooting section. If you have the original software that came with your printer, you can reinstall it. First uninstall the printer software already loaded, then reinstall from the disc.
  • Go to the HP website and see if you have any drivers you need to update. There’s an option on there to test this, and if you need updated drivers you can download them right there.
  • At times the memory is low, and you can add memory to increase it.
Another way to save is to purchase high quality compatible or remanufactured ink or toner cartridges. They are much less expensive than OEM versions, and meet or exceed the output and quality of the OEMs. Inkjetsuperstore Canada offers discount toner and ink cartridges that will provide professional print jobs. And we back our cartridges with a one-year full money back guarantee.

How to Recycle HP Cartridges in UK

When you realize that recycling helps reduce landfills, and it also improves the environment, you know that the best thing you can do to contribute to this effort is to recycle your HP toner and ink cartridges.

  1. Start by saving empty cartridges rather than tossing them out. Ask friends and colleagues to do the same. Tell them you are starting a recycling programme and what them to participate.
  2. Store cartridges in a used plastic bag. This protects them, because most recycling vendors won’t accept damaged cartridges. It also contains any seepage of toner. Before sending them off to recycle, package them in the original box if you have it. Use old newspaper to cushion the cartridge.
  3. HP has recycled more than 90 million kilograms of toner and ink cartridges so far. They are committed to ensuring our environment is protected. Their programme is called HP Planet Partners ™. With this programme, it’s simple and free to recycle HP print cartridges for everyone, from consumers at home or in small or medium businesses.

At Inkjetsuperstore UK, we are committed to protect and conserve our environment. We also sell compatible and remanufactured toner and ink cartridges and back them by a one-year full money back guarantee. These recycled cartridges help in the effort to “go green.”

Cleaning Your Lexmark Printer

It’s wonderful having an all-in-one Lexmark printer. You can fax, scan and print with just one machine. This means a lot less maintenance. But to keep it operating smoothly, and not have to spend time and money on future repairs, it’s vital you clean it regularly.

First - get your supplies. You’ll need a soft cloth, a lint-free cotton cloth, cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol.

Second - you want to start with the cover of your printer. Wipe it down with a soft cloth. If you find a stubborn spot, you can use a little of a neutral cleaner.

Third - Now get to the glass area of the printer. Don’t put too much pressure on the glass, and wipe in a circular motion. Use the alcohol on the cloth but don’t get it too wet. Wipe clear of any excess liquid. You can dampen the lint-free cloth with water to wipe off the touch screen.

Fourth – Time to tackle the automatic document feeder. Lift it all the way up and using the lint-free cloth with a little alcohol, clean the rollers, gently turning them as you clean them.

Fifth - There’s a rail that moves the lens across the document when printing. Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol to clean this.

Do this procedure every three months or so to accomplish effective preventative maintenance.

To continue to get high quality print jobs and save money at the same time, you can purchase compatible or remanufactured cartridges from Inkjetsuperstore.co.uk We offer great prices, excellent quality cartridges, and back them all with a one-year full money back guarantee.

How to Save Money when Printing

When running a business, you want to save, as much money as possible, don’t you? It’s common sense: the more money you save, the more profit you will bring in. And printing in your office can cause a lot of waste! It’s something to be prevented – waste! Look next to your printer. Do you see a stack of extra copies and lots of paper waste? It’s time to take action! Get those costs whittled down and send your profits up, up, up.

Tip-off #1 - First of all, take a look at how you can keep your energy costs low. Turn off your printing equipment when not in use.

Tip-off #2 - When actually printing a document, decide if the use to which you’ll put it will allow for you to print on the backside of a used page. Or when printing a two-sided document, print on both the back and front of the paper. This alone will save you a lot in the long run, about 50% of your paper usage.

Tip-off #3 - Determine if you really do need to print that document. Rather than printing out 15 copies for other employees, see if you can pin one copy up on the bulletin board for display, or send it to each employee via email.

Tip-off #4 - You can also use recycled paper. This is a good way to save our environment. It’s made with materials that would otherwise be in our dumps.

Tip-off #5 - Toner and ink cartridges are also recycled and made into compatible or remanufactured models. These cost you less money to buy, and they usually meet or exceed the OEM versions as far as output and quality.

Inkjetsuperstore.co.uk offers high quality compatible and remanufactured ink and toner cartridges that will boost your profits by saving you money – up to 70% off the OEMs. And we back our cartridges with a full one-year money back guarantee.

Recycling Remanufactured Toner Cartridges in UK

Over 6 million inkjet and laser cartridges are consumed in the UK each year and 50% of these are thrown away. To do something worthwhile in the “Green Revolution,” you should recycle those used toner cartridges. Whether remanufactured, compatible or OEM, they all need to be reused as much as their lifespan will allow. This extends their life and prevents them ending up in the dump and our landfills.

But remanufactured cartridges can only be used a certain number of times before their parts wear out. Compatible cartridges, however, are usually built with new parts included. They may be able to be recycled more often.

One place you can use to recycle is tonerrecycling.con that has the goal of "significantly increasing the number of toner cartridges currently being recycled in this country". You can check if your toner is part of their list and then contact them to pick them up.

At Inkjetsuperstore.co.uk, we offer high quality compatible and remanufactured toner and inkjet cartridges that often meet or exceed the OEM models, and cost a lot less too. We back all our cartridges with a one-year full money back guarantee, too! We want you to be 100% satisfied so you come back again and again.

Advantages of Remanufactured Ink Cartridges

Remanufactured or compatible ink cartridges can be every bit as good as OEM cartridges, especially if they have been processed in ISO-9001 certified factories.

Wondering how? Well, the original cartridges are taken apart, cleaned, refilled and repaired to exacting quality standards. These cartridges work as well as the originals providing excellent printing results and are completely compatible.

What are those Advantages?

1. - Low Cost. Because they are priced from 1/3 to 1/2 below the cost of original cartridges, thus allowing you to purchase up to twice as many remanufactured ink cartridges as you could of the OEM ones and still have the same quality of printing.

2. – Environment friendly. The plastic used in ink cartridges can take up to 1,000 years to decompose releasing toxic elements into the earth. By using remanufactured ink cartridges you continue the loop on the life of the cartridge and keep them from eternal burial quite longer.

3.- Money Back Warranty. Our remanufactured ink cartridges are rebuilt to the same quality they have a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If a defect is found in a remanufactured cartridge that damages your printer, our warranty will cover repair or replacement of the machine up to a specified dollar amount. Of course, to take advantage of the warranty, documentation from an authorized service company must be provided.

Our remanufactured ink cartridges are readily available for brands such as Canon ink cartridges, HP ink cartridges, Lexmark ink cartridges, Epson ink cartridges, Brother ink cartridges, and many others.
